Why Use This Feature?
✅ Prevent Incorrect Bookings – Ensure age-restricted appointments are booked only by eligible members.
Use Case – Age-Restricted Gym Inductions
A gym requires 14–17-year-olds to complete an induction before using the facilities.
How It Works:
The gym sets up a Youth Induction appointment with Age Restrictions (14–17).
A 15-year-old can book ✅, but a 13-year-old is blocked ❌.
An 18-year-old sees a notification directing them to the adult induction.
Ideal for:
✅ Under-18 Inductions – Ensure young members complete safety training.
✅ Supervised Training – Prevent junior members from booking unsupervised sessions.
How to Set Up Age Restrictions for an Appointment
Step 1: Access the Appointments Page
Go to the Settings menu in the admin dashboard (top-right corner).
Select Appointment Types from the dropdown list.
Step 2: Edit or Create an Appointment
Click Edit on an existing appointment or select Add New Appointment to create one.
Step 3: Set the Age Range
Use the first slider to set the minimum age required to book the appointment.
Use the second slider to set the maximum age limit. (This is the age from which the restriction applies)
Step 4: Save Changes
Click Save Changes in the top-right corner to apply the settings.
What Members Will See
When attempting to book an age-restricted appointment:
🔹 A notification appears, informing them of the restriction.
Please note: ClubRight cannot validate a member’s date of birth. It is the club’s responsibility to verify the information provided on registration, if required, directly with the member.
