Adding a description to a product

Why Use This Feature?

Adding a product description helps your members:

  • Understand what’s included in a product

  • See why the product is useful or relevant to them

  • Make more informed decisions before purchasing

Descriptions are especially useful for explaining add-ons, credit packs, or physical items like t-shirts or supplements.


How to Set Up

1. Go to the product settings

From your admin dashboard, go to SettingsProducts.

2. Add or edit a product

Create a new product, or click to edit an existing one.

3. Enter your product description

In the Description field, type in the details you want members to see — for example:

  • What the product includes

  • Who it’s for

  • How or when it can be used

This field works just like the description fields for memberships or bookings.

4. Save your changes

Click Save Changes at the top of the page to confirm.


What Members Will See

  • When a member views the product during the online purchase journey, a “View Description” button appears

  • Clicking the button opens a popup window showing the full product description

  • If the description is long, the popup is scrollable — especially helpful for mobile users

This applies when products are purchased from:

  • The Member Area

  • During the class or appointment booking process (e.g. add-ons or credits)


Things to Note

✅ Product descriptions help improve clarity and reduce member questions
✅ Not shown on the Till screen
