Enable or Disable Activity Waiting Lists

Control how each activity handles full bookings by turning the waiting list on or off.

Choose whether members can join a waiting list for each individual activity.

You can enable or disable the waiting list feature on a per-activity basis. This gives you more flexibility in how you manage bookings for different activities, depending on your preference.

This feature is available on the Complete package only.

๐Ÿ” This setting applies per activity โ€“ so you can have waiting lists enabled for some, and disabled for others.


Why Use This Feature?

Disabling the waiting list is useful when:

  • You want a first-come, first-served approach with no overflow

  • Youโ€™re running sessions where a waiting list is not necessary or practical

When the waiting list is disabled, members will only see availability if a space is open โ€“ no option to join a waitlist.


How to Enable or Disable the Waiting List

  1. Head to the Settings menu (top right corner of your admin dashboard)

  2. Select Activities

  3. Either create a new activity or edit an existing one

  4. Go to the Booking tab

  5. Under Waiting List, use the dropdown to select:

    • Enabled โ€“ allows members to join a waiting list when the activity is full

    • Disabled โ€“ hides the waiting list option entirely

  6. Click Save Changes in the top right corner


What Members Will See

  • If Enabled: Once a session is full, members will see the option to join the waiting list

  • If Disabled: The session will show as fully booked (once fully booked) with no waitlist option available


Things to Note

โœ… You can change this setting at any time by editing the activity
โœ… Members are not notified when the waiting list is disabled โ€“ theyโ€™ll simply no longer see that option
