Mailchimp is email marketing software you can use to send newsletters and targeted campaigns to your prospects and members. Connecting it to ClubRight lets you push a group of members straight into a Mailchimp list, ready to email, without exporting and importing spreadsheets by hand.
Connecting Mailchimp
Open your Settings and go to the Integrations page.
In the Marketing & Analytics section, find Mailchimp and click to connect.
You will be taken to Mailchimp to Log in and authorise. Sign in with your Mailchimp username and password (or continue with Google if that is how your Mailchimp account was created) to authorise your account to ClubRight.
Once authorised, Mailchimp shows as Connected on your Integrations page.
Adding members to a Mailchimp list
With Mailchimp connected, you can send a selection of members from ClubRight into a Mailchimp list:
Go to Contacts and filter to the members you want to add.
Select the members, then open the bulk member actions.
Choose the option to add to a Mailchimp list.
Either choose an existing list or enter a name to create a new one.
Your selected members are added to that list in Mailchimp, where you can build and send your campaign. For creating lists, templates, and campaigns, Mailchimp's own help centre has step-by-step guides.
⚠️ Important: when sending marketing emails, you must stay GDPR compliant. Only send marketing material to members who have given marketing consent. See the related articles below on consent.
