To change a Customers Bank Details, you must follow the steps below...
Go in to the Customers/Members profile.
Click on the "Payments" tab.
Cancel the Direct Debit mandate.
Next, click on the "Memberships" Tab and select the Membership plan by clicking the edit button. If they do not currently have a membership plan you will click 'add membership'.
Finally click on 'Setup GoCardless Subscription' and enter in the Customers/Members New Bank details (Account Name, Sortcode & Account Number).
Your customer will receive automated communication from ourselves and GoCardless to confirm the changes.
Note: If the Membership Plan that you are selling them has "Pro-rata" switched on, you may wish to untick this so that the customer is not overcharged. You must then go back and enable it afterwards too, to ensure new customers are paying it going forward.
Note: If you use Harlands or DFC you will need to contact these company's directly to change the bank information for customers.
