ePoints allow you to issue credit to members that can be used to buy products through the Member App. Whether it’s for gifting, rewards, or sales incentives — ePoints give you a flexible way to encourage engagement and increase revenue.

Why Use This Feature?
ePoints can be used to:
Sell in-club credit (e.g. 1000 ePoints for £10)
Create and sell gift vouchers redeemable as ePoints
Reward referrals with monthly ePoints instead of cash discounts
Incentivise attendance, purchases, or behaviour with points that feel valuable to members
💡 1 ePoint = 1p. This rate is fixed and cannot be changed.
How ePoints Work
Members purchase ePoints as a product (e.g. 1000 ePoints = £10). They can then spend those points on eligible products. For example, if they use 100 ePoints on a £1 protein bar, they’ll have 900 ePoints remaining.

How to Set Up ePoints
Step 1: Create the ePoints Product
Go to Settings → Products
Create a new product
Set the product type to ePoints
Enter the price (e.g. £10 = 1000 ePoints)
Under Advanced Options, confirm the number of ePoints awarded
Step 2: Make Products Purchasable with ePoints
Still in Settings → Products, open the products you'd like members to purchase using ePoints
Go to the Advanced Options tab
Tick the box to make the product purchasable with ePoints
Step 3: Members Purchase and Spend ePoints
Once set up:
Members can buy ePoints as a product through the Member App
They can use their points to buy eligible products (but not memberships)
IMPORTANT Note
You can only use this feature with GoCardless and Stripe payment methods
Please Note - 📌 ePoints cannot be used to purchase memberships — they are only valid for products.
Helpful Tip
ePoints are a great way to reward members with high perceived value at a lower actual cost. For example: offering 300 ePoints to spend on a protein shake may feel like a generous gift to the member, while costing you far less than a direct discount.
