Why Use This Feature?
Automated Sales Funnel messaging helps you:
Nurture leads with prompt, relevant communications
Set up stage-based email journeys without manual follow-up
Keep prospects engaged as they move from enquiry to membership
Save admin time while improving conversion rates
You can build sequences of multiple messages within each stage — all triggered by actions like a status change or time delay.
Step 1: Go to Message Automation Settings
Navigate to Settings → Message Automation
Step 2: Create a New Automated Message
Click New Message Automation to start a new workflow.
Step 3: Set Up the Trigger
For Sales Funnel automation, select the event:
Sales Funnel Stage ChangedChoose the specific Sales Funnel stage you want to trigger the email (e.g. New Enquiry)
✉️ Optional: Add a delay — for example, send the message 3 days after the stage change.
Step 4: Write Your Email
Create the email content you want to send. Keep it short, clear, and focused on the goal for that stage.
Step 5: Add the Member to the Funnel
When a member is moved into the selected stage (e.g. New Enquiry), they will automatically begin receiving the email sequence you’ve set up.
You can create multiple emails per stage, each triggered by time-based delays. For example:
Email 1: Sent as soon as they enter the stage
Email 2: Sent 5 days later
Email 3: Sent 10 days later
Each message is scheduled and sent automatically, helping you follow up without lifting a finger.
Helpful Tips
Plan your message flow in advance
Decide how many emails you want per stage, and what each should say. Good planning avoids confusion and saves time later. Each funnel stage starts a new email sequence
When a member moves from one stage to another, any emails linked to the previous stage will stop, and the new stage’s sequence will begin.Example: If someone moves from New Enquiry to Club Visit Booked, they’ll stop receiving emails for New Enquiry and start receiving messages for Club Visit Booked.
Keep messages clear and concise
Avoid image-heavy or overly long emails. Industry experts recommend:4–6 short, well-timed emails per stage
Text-based emails for better engagement
Avoiding over-communication, which can lead to unsubscribe
Avoid lengthy emails and also use of images.
