The member app is where your members interact with your club online, from joining and booking classes to managing their membership. You can customise the look and feel of the app to match your brand, control what members see when they log in, and set up the registration and access settings that work for your club.
📋 Note: Some customisation features are only available on the Complete package. Core package users have access to basic customisation options only. Existing custom tiles will still be present but cannot be edited.
How to get to the Member Area settings
Click the burger menu in the top left-hand corner of your home page.
Click Settings.
Under Your Web Presence, click Member Area.
From here you can navigate between three sections using the left-hand menu: Member Area Homepage, Member Area Pages, and Access & Registration.
Member Area Homepage
This is the first thing members see when they log in. The homepage editor has two tabs: Branding and Custom Tiles. A live mobile preview on the right-hand side updates as you make changes, so you can see exactly how the app will look to members.
Branding
The Branding tab controls the visual appearance of your member app homepage.
Header Image (Complete only): upload an image to display at the top of the member app. Use a high-quality landscape image (1280 x 720px) that represents your club. You will be able to crop after selecting.
Scan Background (Complete only): upload an image that appears behind the Tap to scan in tile, or on the digital membership card. Recommended size is 1200 x 400px.
Welcome Message (Complete only): add a personalised greeting that appears in the hero section below the header, such as "Welcome to [Club Name]".
Notification Banner (Complete only): a prominent banner at the top of the member area. Use it for time-sensitive messages such as promotions, facility updates, or important notices. Keep it concise and update it regularly.
Brand Colours (All packages): set the colours used throughout the member app for text, background, and buttons. Choose colours that match your brand and ensure good contrast for readability.
Once you are happy with your branding setup, click Save as Template in the top right corner to save it as a template you can reuse or apply again in future.
Changes save automatically and are reflected in the live preview on the right.
Custom Tiles
Tiles are the clickable buttons members see on their homepage. They guide members towards key actions such as joining, booking a class, or visiting the online shop. Click the Custom Tiles tab to manage them.
📋 Note: Adding, editing, and reordering tiles is only available on the Complete package. Core package users see a default tile layout.
To add a new tile, click Add Tile. To edit an existing tile, click Edit next to it. When editing a tile you can set:
Tile Name: use clear, action-oriented wording such as "Book a Class" or "Join the Gym".
Destination: where the tile takes members when clicked. Make sure this matches the tile name.
Display Type: choose from Icon (icon with text label), Image & Text (lifestyle image with text overlay), or Text only.
Tile Image: if using Image & Text display type, upload a high-quality image representing the action.
Enable / Disable: toggle the tile on or off without deleting it.
Click Save Tile when done.
To reorder tiles, drag and drop them using the six-dot handle on the left of each tile. Place your most important calls to action first.
Tile Size (All packages): choose the size tiles appear on the homepage from the dropdown. Medium (3 per row) is the default. Large works well for Image & Text tiles; smaller sizes suit icon-based layouts or when displaying many options.
Quick Start templates (All packages): if you want a faster setup, click Browse Templates to choose a pre-built tile layout and customise from there.
Tile Suggestions: ClubRight will suggest tiles based on your club's setup. For example, if you have on-demand content but no tile linking to it, a suggestion will appear. Click Add to include it.

This section controls the pages available within your member area.
Custom Pages
Custom pages are shown on the Club Info screen and can also be linked from custom tiles or the menu. To add a new custom page, click Add Custom Page. Existing pages show their status (Live or Draft) and can be opened or edited from here.
