Welcome to the new ClubRight

An overview of what is new in the new ClubRight, where to find familiar features, and how the navigation has changed.

The new ClubRight is a refreshed version of the platform you already use, with a cleaner layout, faster workflows, and a number of new features. Your data, members, memberships, payments, and reports all carry over unchanged. This article is a short tour of what is new and where to find the things you already know.

Nothing has been removed. Everything you could do in the classic ClubRight you can still do in the new ClubRight. Some areas have been renamed, regrouped, or improved, but no feature has been deprecated.

What has stayed the same

All your existing data and configuration carries over automatically:

  • Members, memberships, and member history

  • Payment setup, billing history, and ClubRight Pay configuration

  • Activities, classes, and diary entries

  • Staff accounts, permissions, and roles

  • Reports and historical data

  • Integrations and connected services

  • The Member App (no changes for your members; they continue to log in as normal)

The headline changes

A new way to navigate

The burger menu in the top left of your "Home" page is your main jumping-off point for every area of ClubRight. It is grouped into clear sections (Dashboards, Operate, Tools, Settings) so you can find what you need quickly.

Customisable dashboards

You can now have multiple dashboards, each focused on a different aspect of your club. A default Home dashboard is available out of the box, and you can add more from six pre-built templates (Owner Overview, Staff Dashboard, Financial Overview, Retention Focus, Front Desk, Sales & Growth) or start from a blank canvas. Redesigned Settings

Settings is now a single visual landing page, with cards grouped into clear sections (What You Offer, How Your Club Runs, Communications, and so on). Use the Search settings bar at the top right to jump straight to any setting.

Search throughout

Search bars are now available on multiple pages, including Settings, Contacts, and Conversations, so finding what you need is faster across the board.

Unified Communication area

Everything to do with talking to members now lives under Communication in the burger menu: Conversations (your unified inbox for incoming messages), Group Messages, Tasks, Notifications, and Smart Workflows. See Viewing your messages in Conversations to get started.

Smart Workflows replaces Message Automation

Smart Workflows is the new automation tool, with multi-step sequences, enrolment control, a template library, built-in staff tasks, and smart channel selection. Your existing Message Automations continue to run and can be accessed at Settings > Communication > Message Automation (legacy). Migration is recommended but not required. New Payments section

Payments is a brand new area giving you a complete picture of the financial side of your club: revenue trends, collections calendar, transactions, debtors, payment methods, and provider activity, plus detailed reports. Open it from the burger menu under Tools > Payments.

Plus more features you have asked for

A number of long-requested capabilities are now live:

  • Saved Replies: reusable message templates for the messages you send often. See Creating and managing Saved Replies.

  • CSV export of reports: every report can now be exported to CSV directly.

  • Auto-saving settings: many settings pages save your changes as you make them.

  • Step-by-step setup wizards for membership plans, activities, and products.

  • High-risk PAR-Q flagging to alert staff to members who need extra attention.

  • Member age visible on profiles and contact lists, with notifications when members approach plan age limits.

  • Payment removal alerts when active members remove their saved card details.

  • Branded QR codes for individual membership plans, with an optional club logo embed.

  • Bulk task dismissal in your Tasks list.

Renamed: from classic to new ClubRight

A few familiar terms have been updated. If you cannot find something, this list may help:

  • Members Grid is now Contacts

  • Message Automation is now Smart Workflows (the original Message Automation is still available as Message Automation (legacy))

  • Comms Inbox is now Conversations

  • Tools > Communication is now just Communication, accessed directly from the burger menu

If you need the classic version

⚠️ Time-limited: the classic ClubRight remains available as a fallback for a limited period after the new ClubRight launches. After the fallback period ends, the new ClubRight becomes the only version available.

If you would prefer to carry on with the version you know while you get settled, you can switch back to ClubRight Classic at any time during the fallback period in two ways:

The Help Centre has been updated alongside the new ClubRight. For specific how-tos, use:
