Tracking class attendance

How to see who attended, who missed their booking, and your show-up rate by activity.

ClubRight tracks who booked into each class and whether they attended, so you can see how well your classes are attended and follow up on no-shows. Attendance is shown through the insights views in the diary.

Where to find attendance

Open the diary from the calendar icon in the left menu. Down the left, under Insights, you will find two attendance views:

  • Activity Attendance shows a booked versus attended breakdown by class.

  • Missed Sessions shows members who booked but did not attend, so you can follow up.

You can narrow either view using the Room, Staff, and Class filters down the left, and change the date range at the top.

Reading Activity Attendance

The Activity Attendance view opens with summary figures across the top for the selected period: the number of Activities, Total Sessions, Total Booked, and your overall Show-Up Rate.

Below that, the Activity Breakdown lists each class with the number booked, the number who attended, and the show-up rate for that class. This lets you compare how well different classes are attended and spot where members book but do not turn up.

How attendance is recorded

A member is marked as attended when they are checked in. If you have turned on Auto attendance in your diary and booking settings, members are marked as attended automatically unless someone manually checks them in. With it off, attendance is recorded only when a member is checked in. You can set this under Settings > Your Club > Diary & Booking.

⚠️ Note: If your show-up rate looks low or shows 0%, check how attendance is recorded. With Auto attendance off, members who attended but were never checked in will count as no-shows.
