A booking ban stops a member from booking, either across all activities until a set date or from specific activities only. It is useful for members who repeatedly miss sessions or who you want to pause from booking for a time. A booking ban does not affect gym entry, it only stops bookings.
How to ban a member from booking
Open the member's profile from Contacts.
Click the edit (pencil) icon near the top right of the profile, then choose Manage restrictions.
To stop all bookings until a date, set a date under Booking Ban, where it reads "Prevent this member from booking until a specific date".
To ban specific activities, tick them under Restricted Activity Access. These are the activities the member will not be able to book. Use Select All to tick every activity at once.
Click Save.
The member will no longer be able to book the affected sessions online. You can still book them in manually from the diary if you need to.
How to lift a ban
To remove a ban, open Manage restrictions again from the member's profile. Use Clear next to the Booking Ban date to lift a date ban, or untick any restricted activities, then click Save. The member can then book again.
⚠️ Note: A booking ban only stops bookings. To stop someone accessing the club entirely, block them by email instead, covered in the linked article below.
