This guide covers connecting a receipt printer and cash drawer to ClubRight, so you can print receipts and open the drawer automatically when you take a sale at the till. The hardware runs through the Welcome Screen & POS application on a Windows PC at your reception.
⚠️ Important: ClubRight supports one physical till per account. Do not connect more than one, as this can cause unreliable behaviour.
⚠️ Note: The Welcome Screen & POS application is Windows only and runs on a PC at your reception.
Step 1: Install the printer drivers
Before connecting anything, install the driver for your receipt printer. Our standard printer is the Epson TM-T20II.
Make sure the printer and other hardware are not yet connected to the PC.
Download and install the driver from the manufacturer's support site for your printer model.
Restart the PC if prompted.
Step 2: Connect the hardware
Once the driver is installed, plug in all the hardware: the receipt printer and the cash drawer. Keep everything connected for the remaining steps.
Step 3: Download the Welcome Screen & POS application
Go to Settings, then Your Club, then Apps & Widgets.
Under Tools for your front desk, find Welcome Screen & POS and click Download.
Install the application on your reception PC, with all the hardware plugged in.
Step 4: Configure the printer and cash drawer
Open the Welcome Screen & POS application and press F12 to open the command box.
Select the POS printer you are using, and run a test print if you want to check it.
Enter the cash drawer code for your hardware in the till command. For the standard Epson TM-T20II, the code is:
27,112,48,55,121
If you are using a different printer, use the drawer code that matches your model.
Step 5: Save and restart
Save your settings, then close and reopen the Welcome Screen & POS application. Your receipt printer and cash drawer should now work when you take a sale.
If your printer or drawer is not responding after setup, click the orange chat button at the bottom of your screen to speak to our team.
