Setting a member's profile picture

How to add or change a member's profile photo, and how members can set their own.

A profile picture helps staff recognise members at a glance, on the profile and at check-in. You can add or change a member's photo from their profile, and members can also set their own photo from the member area.


How to add or change a member's photo

There are two ways to do this from a member's profile. Staff can change a member's photo as many times as needed.

From the profile screen:

  1. Open the member's profile from Contacts.

  2. Click the photo next to the member's name.

  3. Select the image file you want to upload.

From the Edit Profile panel:

  1. Open the member's profile and open Edit Profile.

  2. Click Change photo at the top of the panel.

  3. Select the image file you want to upload, then click Save Changes.

To change an existing photo, follow the same steps and upload a new file in place of the current one.


Can members set their own photo?

Yes. Members can set their own profile picture from the member area. To stop members from sharing their membership by swapping the photo to a friend, you can limit how many times a member can change their own photo each month.

This limit is set with the Profile image changes per month setting, under Access & Registration > Member Settings in your Member Area settings. Set it to 0 for unlimited changes. This limit applies only to members changing their own photo. It does not affect staff, who can change a member's photo as often as they like.
