Setting up FAQs

Add questions and answers to your website, and why a good FAQ section helps your club get found.

This article is about your ClubRight Website, your public site for attracting new members.

The FAQ section answers the questions visitors have before they join, in plain language, right on your website. It is one of the most valuable parts of your site, both for visitors and for getting found, so it is worth filling in properly. This article explains how to add FAQs and what to include.

Why FAQs matter for being found: Search engines and AI search tools (like Google's AI answers and chatbots) look for clear questions paired with clear answers. A good FAQ section is one of the best ways to help your club show up when someone asks a question about gyms in your area. Every question you answer is another way a potential member can find you.


How to add an FAQ

  1. Go to Settings > Website and open the FAQ tab.

  2. Under Add a new FAQ, type the Question and the Answer.

  3. Click Add FAQ.

  4. Click Save changes.

Your FAQs appear in the FAQ section of your site. The live preview on the right shows how they look.


Editing, reordering, and removing

  • Edit: change the text in any existing Question or Answer box.

  • Reorder: use the up and down arrows on each FAQ. The order here is the order shown on your site, so put your most common questions first.

  • Remove: click Remove on the FAQ you want to delete.

Remember to click Save changes when you are done.

💡 Note: The FAQ section only appears on your site when you have added at least one FAQ. You can hide it even when it has content from the Page sections tab.


What makes a good FAQ

Write each question the way a visitor would actually ask it, and answer it directly in the first sentence. Keep answers short and specific. Good questions to consider include:

  • Joining and contracts: Do I have to sign a contract? Can I cancel anytime? Is there a joining fee?

  • Trying before joining: Can I try the gym before joining? Do you offer a free or trial class?

  • What's included: Are classes included in membership? What does off-peak mean? Do you have parking?

  • Access and staffing: What are your opening hours? Is the gym always staffed? Can I access the gym 24/7?

  • Your offering: What classes do you run? Do you offer personal training? Do you have specific facilities or equipment people ask about?

Pick the questions your team actually gets asked most often. Answering them here saves your team time and helps visitors decide to join.
