Displaying Google Reviews

Connect your Google Business listing to show your star rating and reviews on your website.

This article is about your ClubRight Website, your public site for attracting new members.

You can connect your Google Business listing so your star rating and latest reviews appear on your website automatically. This is one of the most effective ways to build trust with people who are deciding whether to join, so it is well worth setting up.

Why this matters: New visitors trust what other members say. Once connected, your Google star rating shows on the main image at the top of your site, and your latest reviews appear further down the page. This social proof reassures prospective members and helps turn visitors into sign-ups.

How to connect your Google Business listing

  1. Go to Settings > Website and open the Google reviews tab.

  2. Under Search for your business, start typing your gym name or address.

  3. Pick the matching business from the results. ClubRight grabs its details and pulls in your reviews and rating.

  4. Click Save changes.

Once connected, the tab shows your business name, your star rating, the number of reviews, and when it last synced.

Keeping it up to date and disconnecting

  • Sync now: pulls your latest reviews and rating straight away, rather than waiting for the next automatic sync.

  • Disconnect: removes the connection, so your reviews and rating no longer show on your site.

💡 Note: Connecting Google only affects your reviews and rating. Your address, phone number, and opening hours come from Club Info, not from your Google listing. You can hide the reviews section from the Page sections tab if you ever need to.

For how reviews fit into the rest of your site, see Setting up your ClubRight Website.
