Website troubleshooting: common questions

Quick fixes for common website questions: missing sections, wrong hours or prices, and changes not showing.

This article is about your ClubRight Website, your public site for attracting new members. It covers common questions about that public site. It is not about troubleshooting the ClubRight system your members and staff use day to day.

Most website questions come down to a handful of things, and nearly all of them are quick to fix. This article covers the common ones. Because so much of your site is pulled automatically from ClubRight, the fix is often to update the source rather than the website itself.

My site is not live yet

Your site goes live to the public only once you have connected a custom domain. If you have connected one and it is still not live, it is almost always the DNS records, and it often just needs a little time, DNS changes can take up to an hour. See Troubleshooting your custom domain.

A section is missing from my website

Sections appear automatically when they have content. If a section is missing, either it has no content yet (for example, no FAQs added, or no Google listing connected), or it has been switched off on the Page sections tab. See Choosing which sections show on your homepage.

My opening hours are wrong on my website

By default your site shows your ClubRight access times, which are often when member entry stops, not your real front-of-house hours. Turn on Set my own opening hours for the website on the Contact & hours tab and enter your real hours. See Setting your contact details and opening hours.

My address or phone number is wrong on my website

These come from Club Info, not the website editor. Update them there and your site updates automatically. See Editing your club info.

A membership price is wrong, or a plan is missing, on my website

Prices and plans come from your memberships in ClubRight, there is no separate price on the website. Edit the plan in Memberships to change its price. Note that plans which require a promo code are hidden from your homepage by design. See How your memberships show on your website.

My logo or brand colour is wrong on my website

Your logo and brand colour come from Club Info and are used across your site, member area, and emails. Update them in Club Info to change them everywhere.

A menu link is missing on my website

Menu links hide themselves when their section has no content. For example, there is no FAQ link until you have added FAQs. Add content to the section and the link appears. See Updating your menu items.

My promo banner is not showing on my website

Check that Show this banner on my site is switched on (a banner that is set up but switched off shows a Hidden label), and that the current date falls within the banner's start and end dates. See Setting up your promotional banner.

My website changes are not showing

Make sure you clicked Save changes in the top right after editing. The live preview on the right updates as you work, so use it to confirm a change before saving.
