Finding and filtering your members

How to search, filter, and save filtered views of your members in the Members area.

The Members area is where you find and work with your club's members. You can search for an individual, filter your members down to a specific group, and save filtered views you use often so you can load them again in one click. This article explains how to search, filter, and save those views.

Opening your members

Go to Contacts in the left-hand menu and select Members. You will see all your members, with a count next to each status (All, Active, Unpaid, Frozen, Expired, Cancelled) down the left so you can jump straight to one. You can switch between a card view and a list view using the view toggle in the top right.

Searching for a member

Use the Search members box at the top to find someone quickly. You can search by details such as their name, member number, email, or phone number. Matching members appear as you type.

Filtering your members

To narrow your members down to a specific set, select More Filters to open the filter panel. You can combine any of the following:

  • Membership Plan: show members on a particular plan.

  • Status: filter by membership status.

  • Group: show members in a particular member group.

  • Gender.

  • Staff: filter by the staff member a contact is assigned to.

  • Joined, Expiry, and Last Seen: filter by a date range for each.

  • Age Range: drag the slider to set a minimum and maximum age.

As you set filters, the member list updates to match. Select Clear Filters to reset them.

Additional filters on some packages

Some filters are available on specific packages only and may not appear in your account:

  • With Tags and Without Tags: include or exclude members who have particular tags.

  • Sales Funnel: filter by a contact's stage in your Sales Funnel.

If you would like to use these filters and cannot see them, reply here asking to talk to a member of the Customer Success team to check what your package includes.

Saving a filtered view

If you run the same search regularly, you can save it and reload it later. Saving filters is available on specific packages only.

  1. Set up the filters you want in the More Filters panel.

  2. Select Save this search.

  3. Give the filter a name, for example "Active members under 16", and select Save.

To load a saved view later, select the Saved button at the top and choose your filter from the list. The members area shows which saved filter is in use, and you can clear it to return to your full list. If you have not saved any filters yet, the Saved list will be empty.
