An activity is a bookable time slot in your diary, such as a class.
Creating the Activity
Go to Settings > Activities and click Add new activity. Enter a name (for example, "Zumba"), select Live as the activity type, and click Add and Edit.
Configuration -
Details Tab
Set the basic information for your activity:
Duration — How long the class lasts.
Default location — Where held (if applicable and Locations are set up)
Default person — Who teaches or organises the activity.
Colour — How the activity appears on your diary.
Description — Explain what the activity involves. This is shown to members when they book online.
Image — Upload an image to display alongside the activity.
Booking Tab
Configure how members book into the class:
Minimum and maximum attendees — Set capacity limits. Once the maximum is reached, additional bookings join a waiting list and receive an email notification if a space becomes available.
Latest booking — Set how many minutes before the activity starts that bookings close. For example, set to 30 to stop bookings 30 minutes before the activity begins.
Bookable online — Allow members to book through the ClubRight app.
Waiting list — Enable or disable the waiting list for this activity. When enabled, members can join the waiting list once the class is full and will be notified if a space becomes available.
Non member booking? — Restrict bookings to members, or allow non-members to book using credits.
Allow ticket purchasing — This uses all of a member's credits to book in. Only enable this for one-off events.
Age Restriction -
Control which members can book based on their age:
Age restriction — Set to "For All" to allow any member to book, or select "Age Restricted" to limit bookings to a specific age range.
Minimum age — The youngest age allowed to book this activity.
Maximum age — The oldest age allowed to book this activity.
This is useful for classes designed for specific age groups, such as junior sessions or over-50s fitness classes.
Bolt-Ons Tab
Select any bolt-on products you want to offer at the point of booking, such as equipment hire or refreshments.
Membership Plan Access Tab
Tick the membership plans that include unlimited access to this activity. Members on these plans can book without using credits.
Product Access Tab
Tick the credit products that grant access to this activity. You'll need to set up credits first — see our [Creating a Credit article] for details.
After Setup
Once saved, you can add the activity to your diary for members to book via the Member App or in person.
Tip: Use clear, engaging class names so members understand what to expect and whether the class suits them.
