To make a membership end later, add days with Edit contract > Extend by [ ] days. To make it end earlier, cancel it with a Cancel on date. You can't bring the end date forward with Extend by, because it only accepts 0 to 365 days.
How do I make a membership end later?
Go to Contacts > Members and open the member's profile.
Click the membership tile, or Manage & view details, to open the Manage Membership panel.
Click Edit contract.
Enter the number of days to add in Extend by [ ] days, up to 365.
Click Save changes.
The same Edit contract panel also has End of contract, where you can choose Cancel at end (it shows the last day, for example "Cancel at end (28/10/2026)") or Convert to rolling so the membership carries on after its end date.
To add days to lots of memberships at once, see How to bulk extend your membership plans.
How do I make a membership end earlier?
Cancel it with the date you want it to end. Extend by doesn't take a minus number: if you enter one, ClubRight shows "Days to extend by must be between 0 and 365." and the end date doesn't change.
Open the member's profile and click the membership tile to open the Manage Membership panel.
Click Cancel.
In Cancel on, pick the new end date. It defaults to today.
Check What will happen, then click Cancel membership.
With a future date, the member stays active for the whole of that day and the membership ends at the end of it.
⚠️ Note: Read What will happen on the cancel screen before you confirm, as it shows what happens to the member's payments. For more on cancelling, see Cancelling a membership: process and what to expect.
