Getting your own branded app

What a branded app is, the five setup steps, and what happens after you send it to us.

⚠️ Note: Branded apps are currently in early access, so not every club can use them yet. If you can't see Branded app in your settings and would like your own app, get in touch with us.

A branded app is your own app in the App Store and Google Play, with your club's name, icon and colours. Your members use it to book classes, check the timetable and manage their membership.

The app is published under your business, so you own it. Our team builds it and looks after it for you.

Where to find it

Go to Settings > Your Club > Branded app. You'll see five steps, each marked To do until it's done:

  1. Your business: how your Apple account is set up, your legal name and your D-U-N-S number.

  2. Set up your Apple account: join the Apple Developer Program and invite us in.

  3. Set up your Google account: create a Google Play developer account and invite us in.

  4. Your app: the name, icon, colours and the words people see in the stores.

  5. Check and send: look over everything, then send it to us to build.

You can do the steps in any order and come back to them at any time. Click Save and go back to save your progress on each step.

💡 Tip: Start with Your business. If you need a D-U-N-S number, it can take a week or so to arrive, and both Apple and Google ask for it.

What it costs you

Apple and Google each charge their own fee for a developer account, which you pay to them directly. You'll find the details under What it costs you at the bottom of Settings > Your Club > Branded app.

What happens after you send it

  1. We check we can get into your Apple and Google accounts, and that your privacy policy has what the stores ask for.

  2. We build your app and make the pictures for the store pages, then send them to you to approve.

  3. You try a test version on your own phone.

  4. When you're happy, we send it to Apple and Google. They usually take a few days to approve a new app.
