You can change the date a member's Direct Debit is collected by cancelling their current plan and re-adding the same plan with a new start date. This applies to members paying by ClubRight Pay or GoCardless.
Note: For members paying through Harlands or DFC, you cannot change the date in ClubRight. Contact those organisations directly to make the change.
Important: If the member's next Direct Debit is less than 4 working days away, you cannot do this yet. Wait until that payment has cleared before changing the date, otherwise you risk collecting twice or missing a payment.
Note: Changing a Direct Debit date works by cancelling and re-adding the plan, so the member keeps the same plan on a new schedule. The Edit contract option only changes the contract end date, it does not change the collection date.
Step 1: Cancel the current plan
Open the member's profile.
On the membership tile, click View schedule & details to open the Manage Membership panel.
Click Cancel, choosing to cancel now rather than at the end of the contract.
Step 2: Re-add the plan with the new date
Back on the member's profile, click Add another membership and work through the New membership wizard, selecting the same plan. On the Start date step, set the start date so the first payment is collected on the new date you want. The Payment Summary on that step shows the collection day, so you can check it before continuing. For full detail on each step of the wizard, see Manually adding a membership in club.
Important: The new payment date must be at least 4 working days away.
