Setting up TeamViewer, so we can support you remotely!

Updated over 2 years ago

On the helpdesk we use TeamViewer to support you remotely when you need it

TeamViewer QuickSupport

We use QuickSupport to help you on a once-off basis if you need, as the title suggests, quick support. You can download QuickSupport from the button below:

When setting up QuickSupport, please provide the helpdesk representative with your Session ID, it also helps to name your PC something appropriate, such as the name of your Club, "My Gym (Reception)" is a good example of a name for a gym reception computer.

TeamViewer Host

We also use TeamViewer Host, this is an alternative program that you can leave running in the background while you work. When you need support it means we can instantly connect in and provide you with help. We recommend this when you need help but are out of the office, or are otherwise unavailable at the timeslot given, this is because we can connect in to your computer without your assistance using this program.

When setting up Host, please provide the helpdesk representative with your ID and Password provided in the program, it also helps to name your PC something appropriate during the setup process, such as the name of your Club, "My Gym (Reception)" is a good example of a name for a gym reception computer.

Disclaimers

TeamViewer and TeamViewer Host are remote access platforms, while safe in nature they can also be used as a vector of attack. Please keep this in mind and ensure all of your workplace computers are kept secure, ClubRight take no responsibility for any damages or loss of data resulting from poor cyber security.

While TeamViewer is a powerful tool for providing support, but please remember that the Orange Circle remains our primary support platform, all helpdesk requests must be made through there. There are multiple ways to contact our helpdesk, either directly via the Orange Circle and speaking to Clifford, or by sending an email to enquiries@clubright.co.uk.
