With the Zoom integration, you can run live online classes through ClubRight. Once it is set up, ClubRight creates the Zoom meeting for each online class and sends the link to booked members automatically, so you do not have to generate or email links yourself. Members book an online class the same way they book any other. This article explains how to connect Zoom, mark an activity as a live online class, and run one-to-one online sessions.
Step 1: Connect your Zoom account
Go to Settings, then under Your Club select Integrations.
Find Zoom under Member Services and click Set Up.
Log in to your Zoom account, or create one if you do not have one, and approve the connection when Zoom asks.
Once connected, Zoom shows as Connected on the Integrations page. You can disconnect at any time using Turn Off.
Step 2: Mark an activity as a live online class
Set up your class as an activity in the usual way, then turn on the online option:
Open the activity and go to the How is it booked? section.
Under Online Booking, select In-Club + Online so members can book it in the Member Area.
Tick Live online activity.
When Live online activity is active, a Zoom meeting is set up and emailed to attendees 24 hours before each class, and again half an hour before it starts. Members who book inside those windows receive the link in their booking confirmation instead.
How members book and join
Members book a live online class from the Member App or Member Area in exactly the same way as an in-person class. After booking, they receive an email with the Zoom link so they can join at the start time. They can also join directly from the Member App, keeping everything in one place.
Joining as the host
To teach the class, open it in your diary and use the Zoom link shown on the class to enter the meeting yourself.
Running a one-to-one online session
For a one-to-one online session, such as a personal training session you book on the member's behalf, you can share the Zoom link manually:
Open the class in your diary and copy the Zoom link shown on it.
Use Message All Attendees to email the booked member, and paste the link into your message.
The member receives the link by email and joins at the session time.
Important: You can connect one Zoom account to ClubRight at a time, and it creates a unique link for each online class. Overlapping Zoom classes are not supported: you cannot have two Zoom classes starting at the same time. You can run two classes at the same time as long as only one of them is set as a Zoom class.
Disconnecting Zoom
To remove the integration, use Turn Off next to Zoom on the Integrations page. You can also uninstall the ClubRight app from within your Zoom account: log in to Zoom, go to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage, then Installed Apps, find the ClubRight app, and select Uninstall.
Need a hand?
If you need help getting started with Zoom itself, Zoom's own support guides walk you through joining your first meeting, and you can safely share those with your members. For anything about the ClubRight side of the integration, click the orange chat button to talk to our team.
