Step 1: Apply
To start, fill in the short interest form on the ClubRight Pay page: clubright.co.uk/clubright-pay. The form takes a couple of minutes and captures basic contact details so our team can reach out to you.
Step 2: Discuss and agree
A member of our team will be in touch shortly after you submit the form. In this stage, we will:
Walk through your current setup and what you are looking to achieve with ClubRight Pay Direct Debit
Answer any questions you have about the service, pricing, or how it integrates with your ClubRight account
If you are switching from another Direct Debit provider, discuss the bulk transfer process (see Bulk transferring your Direct Debits to ClubRight Pay)
Once you are ready to proceed, send you the ClubRight Pay agreement to sign
Step 3: Complete the London & Zurich onboarding form
Once your ClubRight Pay agreement is signed, you will be sent a link to the London & Zurich onboarding form. This form must be completed by the same person who signed the ClubRight Pay agreement, since London & Zurich is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and is required to verify the identity of all clients before collections can begin.
The form has four sections:
Company Information
Officers
Settlement Details
Additional Information
The specific fields shown within each section will vary depending on the business type you select (Limited Company, Sole Trader, Charity, and so on).
Documents to have ready
Before you start the form, have these documents to hand:
Two months of bank statements (PDF) for the business account where collected funds will be deposited
Company structure documents (PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG) if your business has a parent company
Additional supporting evidence (PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG) if your business is registered outside the UK
Information to have ready
As well as documents, you will need to provide:
Basic company details (legal name, registration number, VAT registration where applicable, trading address)
Details of your company officers
The business bank account where collected funds will be settled
The average and maximum transaction values you expect to collect
The expected number of Direct Debits you will process per month, given as a range
Why this information is needed
London & Zurich uses the information you provide to:
Verify the identity of your business and the key individuals associated with it
Assess the potential risks of working with your organisation
Comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations
Protect the integrity of the Direct Debit service and prevent fraud
As part of this process, London & Zurich also runs electronic verification checks using the information provided, which may include reviewing data from credit bureaus and other relevant sources.
If you have questions while completing the form, click the question mark icon next to any field for more information, or contact London & Zurich at verify@landz.co.uk.
Step 4: Your account is activated
Once London & Zurich has confirmed your verification, your ClubRight Pay Direct Debit account is connected by our team. You do not need to do anything at this stage. ClubRight Pay simply becomes available in your account, ready for you to set up Direct Debit instructions for your members.
From application to activation can be as quick as 48 hours, depending on how quickly the onboarding form is completed and verification checks clear.
Your first automatically collected Direct Debit will be 6 working days from the date the mandate is set up against a member. This is the standard UK BACS Advance Notice Period and applies to all UK Direct Debits.
Moving existing Direct Debits from another provider
If you are switching from another Direct Debit provider and want to bring your existing members across without asking them to set up new mandates, your bulk transfer will be arranged as part of your onboarding. For the process and timelines, see Bulk transferring your Direct Debits to ClubRight Pay.
