You can process card payments through your ClubRight Pay Card terminal directly from the ClubRight till, covering membership payments, product purchases, and credit top-ups. This article walks through how to take a card payment from the till and complete it through the terminal.
Before you start
Make sure you have a connected ClubRight Pay Card terminal. If you have received your terminal but have not yet set it up, see Setting up your ClubRight Pay Card terminal first.
Taking the payment
From the ClubRight till, set up the membership payment, product purchase, or credit top-up as normal
When you are ready to take payment, click the PDQ button. ClubRight will send the payment request to your terminal. Make sure the device is powered on and connected to WiFi or mobile data.
Complete the transaction by choosing:
Complete (no receipt): finalises the transaction without printing a receipt
Complete with receipt: prints a receipt from the terminal's clip-on printer (if you have one fitted)
The terminal will display the payment amount, and the member can tap or insert their card to pay.
Once the payment is authorised, you will return to the ClubRight till screen and the transaction will be marked as complete.
Viewing payment records
All payment records and reporting from your terminal can be accessed through the ClubRight Pay Portal, alongside all your other ClubRight Pay Card transactions.
