Sending a Group or Bulk Message

How to send a message to all members, or a selection of members that you've pre-filtered.

To send a Group or Bulk Message Β 

**Important Update** Marketing emails are temporarily suspended and will be functional from Tuesday 18th September. You can still send in bulk:

  • - Club Communications

  • - Push Messages

  • - SMS

Step 1: Select Your Recipients

Go to 'Members' from the left-hand menu.

Use the filters to choose who you'd like to send a message to. You can filter by membership categories, statuses, or specific member groups, ticking the highlighted boxes will select your chosen options.

Step 2: Add to Recipient List

After filtering the desired members, click the 'Selected Member Options' button in the top right corner. This adds your chosen members to the recipient list, meaning they'll receive the message.

Step 3: Select "Send a Message" from the pop-up:

Step 4 - Select how you'd like to send the message: Email, Push Notification, Smart or SMS (if you have subscribed to an SMS bundle)

IMPORTANT NOTE - If you are emailing a group message and this is the first time you are sending a group email since our update of November 2025, you may be prompted to read and agree to our Terms relating to using email for Marketing Purposes - if you do see the "Marketing Email Agreement Required" box pop-up, then a Club Owner must read and agree to these terms before proceeding to compose your group email

Step 5: Choose whether to Start a New Message or Continue with any previously saved drafts:

Step 6: Choose whether the email is a Club Communication (does NOT require consent and can be sent ONLY to Active/Frozen/Recently Expired Members - must not contain marketing type content)

OR

a Marketing Email which can be sent to non-members and prospects who have opted in to receive marketing emails.

Step 7: Compose and Send Your New Message

Top Tip! Remember your Subject line is the biggest factor as to whether your email will be opened or not!

Via the Advanced Editor - You can change your font size and colour, insert pictures, tables, or link to external articles, surveys, video content etc, get creative!

  • To schedule the message for a later time or day - Select "Schedule" πŸ‘‰ Read the full guide on scheduling messages

  • To send now - Select "Send Immediately"

  • To save the message for later use, select "Save as Draft". Drafts are stored and accessed from Step 5 detailed above

When you select your Send Option, you will see a summary of the recipient numbers, and any from your selection that will be excluded as they have not given consent, or you have selected "Club Communication" and chosen members that are not currently engaged with your club (for these choose "Marketing Email instead"):

Finding Replies

If a member replies to your message, you can find it in the 'Message Centre' on your dashboard. New, unread messages are highlighted in green. Click on a message to read it and use 'Reply' to quickly respond.

Replies are also stored in the Comms Hub tab of the member's profile.
