What is the Welcome Screen?
The Welcome Screen is a small application (.exe file) that is required for you to connect Clubright to any form of access control and any other hardware such as a till or printer. Whether your access control is a simple desktop scanner, or a multi-maglock door/turnstile, the Welcome Screen is required to be running at all times.
IMPORTANT NOTE
βThe Welcome application works on Windows 10 and 11 only - due to external services requiring Microsoft solutions.
βAs such CANNOT be installed and used on Apple Products
QR Code or Barcode?
Before you start the set up you will need to decide which version you wish to use
Go to Settings > Club Info > Club Access

In the drop down you can select
Normal Bar Code - Used where member has a card or tag with a Bar Code
QR Code (rotating) - Set up on Member App and used with Nortech
OR Code (Fixed) - Set up on Member App and used with Paxton
Where do I download it?
The download file is located in Settings > Club Info > Apps and appears as below:
Note - you MUST be logged in with an Owner Level account on Clubright to access the download
How do I run it?
Simply double-click the exe file to run the auto-installer
I recieve an error message when trying to instal?
Please turn off any anit-virus/anti-malware during installation as it may result in a false-positive.
Also ensure you have Windows admin rights on your PC

Before we jump into some advice to get you up and running again, the Clubright Welcome Screen is a stable application that does not generally cause any issues. Most issues with your access control/scanner/printer/till are due to local-factors, for example; a change in hardware, a new internet service provider, new software being added to your PC, Windows Updates, or corrupted files on your PC for example.
If you do experience an issue, then firstly see if you can roll-back any changes, and see if that resolves the issue. If you are not aware of any changes, then follow the guide below:
