Member View: How the Class Booking Process Works
This guide shows you what your members see when they book a class through the ClubRight Member App. Understanding this journey can help you support members and configure your booking settings effectively.
Step 1: Opening the Timetable
When a member taps Book A Class from their home screen, they're taken to the timetable. This displays any activities you've set up and added to the diary.
The button label on the home screen is controlled by your Homepage Builder settings β it may say something like Make a Booking or Book a Session depending on how you've configured it.
Step 2: Filtering the Timetable
Members can tap the Filters button to narrow down the timetable by activity type, day, or other preferences. They can also scroll through the full timetable without applying any filters.
Step 3: Selecting a Class
When a member taps on a class, they'll see the details including time, instructor, and available spaces. They then tap Confirm Booking to add the class to their basket.
Step 4: Updating Their Profile (If Required)
If you've set up required profile fields, members who haven't completed them will be prompted to do so before continuing.
Members who have already completed their profile will skip this step automatically.
Step 5: Completing the Health Questionnaire (If Required)
If your club requires a health questionnaire (PAR-Q), members will be asked to complete it before they can proceed.
Members who have already submitted a questionnaire, or clubs that don't require one, will skip this step.
Step 6: Reviewing the Basket and Payment
The member is taken to the Shop screen where they can review their booking and see the total amount due.
If payment is required, they tap Add to basket on the relevant credit, then Continue to Payment and are redirected to the payment screen to complete the transaction.
Payment may not be required if:
Access to the activity is included in the member's membership plan
The member has available credits
The activity is free
Step 7: Booking Confirmation
Once the booking is complete, the member sees a confirmation message on screen and receives a confirmation email.
Good to Know
Members must have an active membership or credits that grant access to the activity in order to book.
If a member contacts you saying they can't book, check their membership plan includes access to that activity.
