What is happening to DFC and Harlands Direct Debits?

ClubRight is disconnected from DFC and Harlands from 1 November 2026, and their final collection is 8 November. What changes, what you'll see in ClubRight, and how your members are moved to ClubRight Pay.

DFC and Harlands are being closed down by their provider. ClubRight's connection to them is switched off from 1 November 2026, and 8 November 2026 is the last date DFC and Harlands will collect any payments. After that, members who are still on DFC or Harlands won't be charged at all. To keep collecting from these members, they need to be moved across to ClubRight Pay Direct Debit before 8 November. Our team does the move for you, and your members don't need to do anything.

What are the key dates?

  • 1 November 2026: ClubRight's connection to DFC and Harlands is switched off. You can't set up new DFC or Harlands Direct Debits through ClubRight, and ClubRight stops receiving any updates about existing ones.

  • 8 November 2026: DFC and Harlands make their final collections. No payments are collected through them after this date.

What will I see in ClubRight for these members?

From 1 November, ClubRight can't show you whether a DFC or Harlands payment has gone through, failed, been cancelled or changed, and it won't flag anything for you. DFC members will stay Active and Harlands payments will keep showing as paid. Check your DFC or Harlands account directly to see what has actually been collected.

⚠️ Note: a member who hasn't been moved by 8 November won't be charged after that date, but they'll still show as Active or paid in ClubRight. Moving your members across is the only way to keep collecting from them.

How are my members moved to ClubRight Pay?

Our team moves your members across for you in one bulk transfer, so you don't move them one by one and your members don't need to do anything:

  • Their Direct Debits are transferred to ClubRight Pay, so members don't need to set up a new Direct Debit.

  • We set up their payments in ClubRight and link them to their memberships once the transfer is done.

  • Members are told about the change by our Direct Debit provider, London & Zurich, when they're moved across.

If we're not already moving your members, book a call with a payment specialist as soon as possible, so they can be moved before 8 November.

💡 Tip: if you're already talking to our team and your move is underway, you don't need to do anything else.

Can I cancel, freeze or change a DFC or Harlands membership?

No. Cancelling, freezing or changing the plan on a DFC or Harlands membership is blocked in ClubRight. Contact our team about moving the member across to ClubRight Pay instead.
